The Veracity Film Blog is a couple of filmmakers who have dedicated their talents and skills to telling stories that matter. Stories that not only entertain and engage, but stories that bring meaning to the human experience, that universal, unifying journey that every soul travels while on this mortal stage.
Christopher S. Clark and Patrick H. Parker have been making films together since they first met at the age of twelve. After years of experimentation, play, and creative exertion, the two have been able to find their unique voice as a filmmaking duo. Their desire to showcase films that portray light and truth through the travails of the human experience is what caused the duo to start the Veracity Film Blog. This blog is a place they can share their vision, ideologies, and processes when crafting films. A place they can share their deepest feelings on the topic of spirituality, faith, and filmmaking.
Christopher and Patrick own and operate ProPel Pictures and Solar Monkey Media and are available for freelance work on a case by case scenario.

From setting up and playing with action figurines staged in elaborate Star Wars battle scenes on top of blue shag carpet from the 70′s, to coaxing neighborhood kids to perform in neighborhood puppet shows and neighborhood plays for profit, Christopher has always had an innate desire to tell stories and to entertain. After trying to sell neighborhood kids on the idea that a candy bar sold from a neighborhood box stand for three dollars was better than walking blocks to spend fifty cents he knew he was destined to be in business for himself.
Meshing a love of storytelling, film, media, and business was the perfect blend for him. Christopher is happy to be doing something he has felt drawn to his whole life. A connection he has felt along side best friend, Patrick H. Parker. Telling stories that can reach the mind and heart of an audience, and invite them to become better individuals.
Christopher is an award-winning filmmaker. Both technically and creatively talented, he employs his well-rounded skills in crafting memorable human stories. A natural director, Christopher’s knack for extracting captivating stories out of seemingly ordinary moments are what set him apart from the slew of copy-cat filmmakers who seem to follow the crowd.
Christopher won Best of Utah in 2007 for the short film “Wrinkles” which was also nominated for Best of Show and Best of Category at the 2008 Damah Spiritual Film Festival. He took first place in the 24-hour film contest at the LDS Film Festival in 2002 for the short film “Outward In.” Christopher has also garnered several Telly Awards for his commercial work. He and Patrick H. Parker have recently been the brainchild and creative executioners behind the most successful Mormon Messages.
Christopher is an experienced filmmaker, marketer, designer, and internet entrepreneur.
Christopher graduated with an Associate Degree in Visual Art and Design from Salt Lake Community College, holds a Bachelors of Science in Business Marketing from the University of Phoenix, and is currently pursuing an MBA from Columbia College. He is married, has three daughters, and regards family life as the ultimate source of happiness.
Patrick H. Parker
Patrick’s skills in multi-media production spring from his interest in filmmaking. Ever since seeing “Raiders of the Lost Ark” for the first time, Patrick knew what he was going to do with the rest of his life. When archaeology didn’t work out for Patrick, he set his sights on filmmaking. His unrelenting desire to make films pushed him to produce anything in the way of audio visual entertainment. That in turn led him to acquiring skills in all facets of production from editing to graphic design to cinematography.
As a student Patrick shot and edited educational and documentary programs for BYU Broadcasting. Patrick acted as co-writer, co-director, and director of photography for the film Amidst the Gateway and the short film Outward In, which won first place at the 2002 LDS film festival in the 24-hour movie making competition and also screened at the Amazon Online Tribeca Film Festival. He is familiar with film and HD camera operations and is versed in the most utilized multi-media and motion graphic applications.
Patrick holds a Master of Entertainment Business from Full Sail University, graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelors of Art in Theatre, and Media Arts with an emphasis in cinematography. He also acquired an Associate of Applied Science in Multimedia Visual Art from Salt Lake Community College.
